In Q2 2025, the EV charging market hit a major milestone. According to Paren’s latest report:

  • 16,700 new DC fast-charging (DCFC) ports are projected in the U.S. this year—a 16% year-over-year increase.

  • In just Q2 alone, 4,242 ports were added across 784 new stations.

  • Charging hubs are scaling up—stations now average 5.4 ports per site, up from 4.7 last year.

  • 63% of new chargers are rated 250 kW or higher, delivering faster charging and greater capacity than ever before.
